A Freikorps Schlageter Commemorative Badge 1918-20 GTRexclude He died on January 21Bronze gilt on silver, hand engraved "Grenzschutz. Ost. 1918 20 Res. Flak Abt. 27." on the reverse, obverse illustrating a cross above the name "SCHLAGETER", bars on either side of the cross inscribed "SPARTAKUS" and "1919 23", crossed swords below the name, surrounded by a wreath with laurels along its left and oak leaves along its right, plus a bow at its base, 46 mm x 58. 2 mm, residue in the recessed areas from cleaning, extremely fine.
