and which I'd definitely think of more as a sculpture than a vase

very empathetic and very squeezable

against what looks perhaps like a now much mellowed gold

Plus there's a keg marked rum sandwiched between these sawing men one hopes the end of day reward for their labor, but certainly also nodding to the importance of rum to the colonial era economy.
