generous fruit and an absolutely eternal finish
burnt earth
resin and petrol aromas lead to unusually sleek middle weight flavors in the context of what is typical for Morgeot and this sense of refinement also characterizes the nicely detailed and lingering finale
There is enough reduction to notice though not so much as to completely dominate the floralsuffused nose
(75% of the blend derives from 35+ year old vines in Les Barreaux and the remainder from 60+ year old vines in Aux Communes)
Meo Camuzet, Morey Saint Denis Rouge other_regions_italy generous fruit and an absolutely(from Clos Solon). Whiffs of herbal tea and various floral nuances add breadth to the ripe and exceptionally fresh red berry fruit scents. There is a lovely intensity to the racy and well detailed middle weight flavors that lean out somewhat on the acceptable long finale. This is pretty but not quite as harmonious, at least not today.
