I really love the classic modernist design of this brass calendar

where he was a professor of art at the University of Zurich from 1953-1973

and hand-painted with glorious color much richer and more elaborate than in the copy of the booklet at Yale

but I think he's wonderful looking

I presume made as a photogram, with the stalk placed against paper onto which the chemicals had been applied by brush, hence the bleed around the edges.
