a monkey rides a horse

Long one measures 6 3/4" l x 1 1/8" in diameter and is in good condition

And carved links at either end make for easy hanging

bit overall excellent condition and just lovely

C. 1940s-50s Oil on Canvas Painting of Young Woman in Yellow Mending illustration Just a great drawing INot really my usual style, but when I came across this painting in Maine yesterday it would not let me go. To me, it has a bit of a WPA feeling about it, and this lovely, rosy cheeked young woman seems to me quietly heroic, looking as if perhaps a few months pregnant and mending (I assume) what looks more like a sheet or blanket than a shirt, and so feels somehow more hopeful and future oriented than a mundane daily chore. (And or perhaps the wear to
